Organic & Sustainability

With global demand increasing for organic foods, precision methods are being adopted such as GPS, laser levels and steam weeding. This therefore is saving time and replacing traditional labour intensive farming methods. Improved technology, helps organic produce become more affordable.

The evolution of organic farming is playing a huge role in soil management and its conservation. Other elements also need to be respected such as the welfare of farm animals and economic fairness towards farmers and workers. We participate closely with our Supply Partners by visiting the farms, warehouses and processing facilities and working collectively to help raise the standards of organic farming.

Our in-house Sustainability Programme starts with the ethos “think globally, act locally”, offsetting our greenhouse emissions and being carbon neutral. Beyond our carbon neutral goal, we have instigated a number of initiatives towards being a carbon negative company.
